Karin's Presentation Review

I listened Karin's presentation at library on Tuesday, 15 Jan, at 12:40．

She introduced about Lacrosse and she gave a nice presentation. Her presentation material was simple and easy to understand. In addition, she speak slowly because she looked want to speak more good and detail information, so I could understand the contents of her presentation more than usual.

However, her voice was little bit small. I don't know the reason, but maybe she didn't memorize the presentation materials contents. Of cause, she could make a detail speech, however that speech wasn't along with the presentation material. I think, if she correct these small points, her presentation become more good.

I listened Mili's presentation at 1231 on Tuesday, 15 Jan, at 12:15．

She presented about Fencing for me and her speech is very detail. She often care about the contents of speech, so she used simple words. In addition, she sometimes questioned about Fencing and she sometimes point at some sentences and graphics, so these points are so good for presentation.

However, Her speech has some week points. There were some slides which has few information in her presentation materials, so she might confused what she should speak at that time. I think if she decided the contents of speech, she can make a speech more fluently and detail more than before.

I listened Erika's presentation at 1121 on Tuesday, 13 Jan, at 16:20．

She introduced about Ice Hockey and she gave a nice presentation for me. At first, she talked most important points at the beginning of presentation, so I could image the Ice Hockey games more easily. In addition, she introduced about concrete game rules, so I could have a lot of interesting for her presentation.

However, she was always looking at her presentation material during she giving a presentation. Checking memo is important, but I didn't feel good, so I think she should gain more chances of eye contacts. If she do this, most people might concentrate with her presentation.

I listened Ruka's presentation at library on Tuesday, 13 Jan, at 12:40．

Her presentation has many detail information about Paintball and she used many pictures in her presentation and she explained about these pictures, so I could enjoy her presentation. In addition, she sometimes worries about my opinions for her speech during she giving a presentation, so she talked little bit slowly because she worried about my understanding.

However, I think her voice was little small. If she give a presentation in front of many people, some people might can't hear what she saying. Moreover, her presentation material's sentences were little small. I felt uneasy about these points this time, so I think if she use more simple words and short sentences, more people might give good feelings.

I listened Akino's presentation at 1121 on Tuesday, 13 Jan, at 12:15．

Her presentation was easy to understand and her presentation materials are simple. she explained all information which displayed on her smart phone, so her speech had no omissions. In addition, she used simple words. Her speech was little fast, but I could understand the contents of her presentation.

However, her presentation materials has some confused slides. There many information, so these slide was hard to see. I think gathering many information is important, so she should form these information more easy to see. I think, making something graphs is one of good way.

BR 2-18: A Speial Kind Of Neighborhood (Waring Rob, 2008)

"Because the environment of The Mission is so comfortable for them." (p.19.).

I have neighbors near by my house too, however, I have more neighbors automatically. So, I have not so good image for neighbors because I have to worry about them almost every week every time. Moreover, these my neighbors and I and my family living in a same condominium, so they are always become nervous for noises. Some opinions about noises at the meeting of that condominium almost once a month. However, these opinion is so negative. When I heard this fact, I thought that everyone who living in that condominium gave up to live more comfortable.  That problem is so difficult to solve, so I didn't see something good relationship with neighbors.At the same time, I think there are only few people who knowing about other people's  because most people doesn't want to make something.  

On the other hand, this book doesn't picked up these examples. Each neighbors are differences of race and life style. However, they are good neighbors each other. When I read this book, I thought that these example are very good and wise. Of cause, Most Japanese haven't the race problem, but they who living in a kind of condominium doesn't satisfied their lives. When I knew the fact in this book, I was so shocked and have a question. Why they doesn't make more good relationship with other people? At least, the Japanese disposition relate it, but I thought that If  most of people success to make good relationships, their works and concern will reduction.

BR 2-16: The Giant's Causeway (Ellis Julie, 2007)

"Suddenly, Oonagh had a plan" (p.14.).

I don't have experiences that play with strong people so many times. Actually, some schools which I had commuted hadn't any strong man. On the other hand, there are some people who good at sports. In addition, I haven't experienced something good things when I was a high school student because I'm not good at sports very well. So, strong person is very unique for me. Maybe, there were might be many strong people before, but the number of these people are decreasing now because today's tendency for education. Of cause, this book's story is imaginary thing, but I thought these things. In addition, I was surprised because this books didn't use any illustration. There are three dolls in this books.  

By the way, I impressed the action of the woman. These two man tried to solve the problem with their power and dignities. Of cause, that woman's idea is little bit embarrassed for the strong man. However, that man didn't complain about it for his wife. When I read this part of the book, I thought that the strong man is very kind. In addition, the man doesn't have excess oneself for his power. I think that point is most important thing of this story. This book is compare two strong mans and explain some differences between two mans strongly. Actually, I think that is a kind of lesson which people should be more wise.

BR 2-17: Taiko Master (Waring Rob, 2008)

"Another drummer also feels that taiko is about giving energy." (p.19.).

Actually, I had a lot of chances to listen taiko when I was a high school student. That high school which I went is famous for taiko club. That point is a only strong point of that school. When the school hold some special events, that club appeared in that events almost every time, so some people who came from outside of school enjoying taiko. However, I can't understand why these taiko performance loved by most people. That club performing same music so long time. Especially, when I attended an entrance ceremony, I was more of enjoyed than surprised. So, this book helps my understand for taiko very much. There are some reports of interviews, so I could feel harms of taiko.

When I reading this book, I had the feeling that taiko is great instruments. There are so many information about taiko and taiko players, however, actually these information aren't special for me. Maybe, most Japanese people might know these things because we had watched some TV programs which introducing Japanese cultures. Therefore, I didn't know that taiko used as guide of formation in the old days. That information was so interesting for me because I didn't enough imagine of taiko's history. At the same time, I had some questions of other example of taiko players. If I have chance to enjoy taiko, I want to listen these music more carefully that before.

Essay 2-02b: Niintendo's Gaming-machines Vs Sony's Gaming-machines

Which of those video game machines do you use? PlayStation machine or Nintendo machine?  We are going to introduce about this two video games brand and Let’s compare this two brand.

At first, start to introduce the history of PlayStation. It put on sale on December 1994. Maybe, This game machine give the deep impression for most people who born in that year. Actually, this development of gaming-machine involved many disagree at that time, however the sales of PlayStation marked high and finally, PlayStation became one of most famous gaming-machine. People got excited for this machine when it lunched and some companies sold much software of TV games. For example, Moon is a one of the game which sold then. This game’s concept is love. Main character who swallowed up into the screen of TV game tries to get out from there and he knows the real value of loves. In other words, this game explains about a kind of philosophy for us and most people satisfied with this game.

In addition, Sony lunched next-generation gaming machine in March 2000. That game machine’s name is PlayStation 2. The color of the main part of a gaming-machine had changed and the shape of that machine had also changed. In addition, this gaming-machine compatible with DVD disc for the first time. The shape of this gaming-machine displaying a kind of object which comes from space. This long narrow shaped gaming-machine could be used either on its side or flat. Moreover, it provided clearer picture quality than PlayStation. Moreover, some companies which inventing TV games started sell a lot of games for reasonable price.

For example, The Jet Coaster is a one of the popular game and some people continuing to play it now. This game is a management game of amusement park. Actually, people who playing this game enjoying management. Most people enjoying make roller coasters in this game. People can make so strange roller coaster which we can’t imagine in our life. Moreover, The Sniper is the most memorable game for people. Some people enjoying this game so long time, but this game was recognized as worst game in 2001. Most people complain about this game’s systems and CG and more. However, some people had interesting for this game and they spread that game’s fascination. And now, this game attracts public attentions now.

In addition, after about four years later when PlayStation 2 lunched, PlayStation 3 released in November 2006. One of the big improved is picture quality. That point had already emphasized when PlayStation 2 released for the first time.  In addition, this gaming-machine can play blue-ray disc. At the same time, SONY developed the video uploading system and installed in this machine. Therefore, everyone who playing TV games with this gaming-machine became more eager to score high points on TV games. However, this time’s improvement was by the best. Moreover, people who bought this gaming-computer could use Internet while people playing TV games. For example, people could share the score of games each other and download some games which are trial version. It was a big change of PlayStation 3.

At the same time, SONY’s household gaming-machines had developed remarkably and these machines changed the shape greatly because Sony wanted to portable gaming-machine. The gaming-machine’s name which Sony invented for the first time is PlayStation Portable and it released in December 2004. In addition, that gaming-machine added improvement to improvement, it became more thin and light than before. Thanks to this development, people can play Video games everywhere.

And now, PlayStation 4 released in November 2014. This is a most latest gaming-machine of PlayStation series and it works as same as ordinals computer. When people use it for the first time, people should make own account because that gaming-machine can record game data so minutely. So, multiple people can use it without memory cards. PlayStation gaming-machine is no longer just a plaything for children. In other words, it became high-tech precision instrument while so long time.

These are history of PlayStation gaming-machine. Thanks for these developments people can enjoy TV games more than before. On the other hand, some hacker tried to theft personal data who registrations user accounts for domestic Internet. Sony could make many people happy with gaming-machines, but there are still remain some serious problems now.

On the other hands, the first produce of Nintendo was released on 1980. This product was called GAME&WATCH and was sold as portable liquid crystal game console. This production cannot be changed to the other cassette like nowadays game machines. You can choose a degree of difficult and it can be also used as mobile watch. This was the reason why this game machine was called GAME&WATCH.

In 1981 Nintendo has made the new production but they didn’t succeed with this project. But through of this unsuccessful project, DK (Donkey Kong) was born and Mario was appeared with the work for the first time.

In 1989 Nintendo produced the Gameboy. The maker hope retail price was 12,800yen with tax. That was very expensive at the time. But the cassette can be changed from this production. GAMEBOY was made by Nintendo and SHARP. Sharp paid 40 million yen for this production. Super Mario and was sold at the same time that GAMEBOY was sold. It was able to communicate with a communications cable at this time.

The first Family Computer Game was made in 1983 15th July also first Mario Brothers was made at the same time. The maker hope retail price was 12,800yen. So it wasn’t sold so much but it came to be gradually popular. Seven years later, they made Super Family Computer. The Graphic was changed so big and the cassette  ouldn’t be taken off from this time. It was loved by many people in the world and there were American version of super family computer.

The next one is very popular with the game called super smash brothers. It is Nitendo64. It was released June 23. 1964. This was the first 3D game what Nintendo made. Smash Brothers is fighting game. It can be played with four people with four controllers. There are so many characters from other Nintendo titles. For example, there is Super Mario, The legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong. There are many popular characters in the game. Those popular characters are playing action game to fight on a stage with the view of the world of the game that they appear as a motif. This is the one of the big attraction of this game.

December 12. 2012. Nintendo has released the Wii U. The graphic is the best of all other game machines that Nintendo made. The controller was changed from the Wii. It looked like a cell phone with cordless. The controller reacts with motion sensor. There is also the button on the controller so player can play it with the motions or buttons. The save data will be saved in the machines so it needn’t buy the memory- card. This is the high technology of the Nintendo. Nintendo games are made for the consumers who are likely to play with others. This is the ain contents of the Nintendo games.

These are the comparison of gaming-machine which invented by each companies. There are a lot of differences. Each gaming-machine has not only good points but also bad points. However, people who had playing TV games excited at that time. In other words, playing TV games is one of the way to communication each other. Maybe, most people may have a lot of memories for playing games while one is unconscious. People should keep in mind more carefully.

In a reacent post on The Vidoe Games, Nintendo and Playstation produced numorous and various products. The first product of Playstation was made on December 1994. Frst Nintendo products was made on 1980. These produce made various funs in the world. Good way Bad way can be known from this.

"You'll see then that people think I'm better than you are" (p.11.).

Actually, I have some not good memories about relation with some girls when I was a high school student. This is a so hard to say, but I felt a kind of horrible at that time. I think, girl's jealousy is the most terrible and scary in the world. Of cause, most girls had good character, but there are some confrontations. One day, some girls conflicted about other girl's character. At that me, I felt that most of girls are so scare when she get angry and jealous. In addition, I don't imagine What'll they do. When I read this book, I remembered these things and I fully realized girls chiropractors. This book explaining about these things so correctly. 

The main character of this story is a kind of arrogant woman. In addition, she have strong feeling and competitive spirit for fabric. Of cause, these character are the reason why she good at to weave fabric, but these tings cause serious problems. In addition,I think the god who get angry for that woman's opinions and appeared has almost same character with the woman. Actually, when I finished read this book, I thought it makes no difference that which character good at wave fabric more than other people. An absurd idea for one's opinion is a most important thing for people who reading this book. In other words, both are to blame. If people read this book, people could know how horrible the jealous.

BR 2-14: Memory Man (Waring Rob, 2008)

"He has memorized more than 250 books!" (p. 7).

I have some experiences about studying, I struggled to memorize words in particular. I heard that there are some way to memorize words. Other people see these words and memorize them, on the other hand the other people write these words again and again. Actually, there are huge difference of way to memorize. In addition, we often memorize many kind of things. For example, number is most easy to memorize, however this is a most used in our life. I have watched an old man who can memorize the circular constant so long. Each time I heard some rumors about him, I always come up questions. Why can he memorize it so accurate? If we mimicked his memorize way, we could memorize as him and are there some possible to become more smart?

This book introduce about secret of memorize. However unfortunately there are no specific grounds which proof that secret. According to this book, memorizing is one of the difficult problem of today's science. This book pick up the story of Golfera who is good at memorizing. Memorizing is a big serious problem for most people, but if the scientists discovered how to memorize more smart, we wouldn't have to struggle about it.

Most people have seen monkeys at zoo. When people see monkeys at zoo, they are always enjoying to see them. On the other hand, when some monkeys found in a residential street, people hate them and suffering from the behave of monkeys. In Japan, most monkeys caught by local government officials and police officers in city, the monkeys are always culled by officials. One of people think this is a natural things, but other people think this is so cruel thing for monkeys. Of cause, returning to nature them is a one of the way to solve this case, however if we released monkeys after we caught, would they cause more serious problems next time? A lot of people discussing this case and the discussion becoming more complex.

However, if wonder whether the city which friendly to monkeys? Actually, that city actually exist. This book introduce about this city and monkeys which living in that city. That city's name is Lopburi. There are a large army of monkeys in that city and causing many proble
ms. However, people don't care about them. In addition, they hold monkey party every year and make many treats for monkeys! Actually, people who living in that city believe the legend of monkey, so they respect monkeys. Of cause, this is a part of religion, but maybe they don't care about this reason. They loving monkeys, so treating an honest guest with monkeys is so natural thing for them.

BR 2-12: New Neighbours (Reilly Carmel, 2007)

Fortunately, I haven't met some persons who doesn't have any good reputations in person. However, I living in condominium now, so there are many neighbors. Most people very kind, but on the other hand, there are few people who not positive for socialize for their neighbors. They are always thinking about only themselves, so they causing trouble, without caring whether they were bothering other. These things are, as it were, my impression for my neighbors. Of cause, most neighbors are kind. This is a unusual case for me. Having many neighbors is good thing for most people. If you had many neighbors, you would spend satisfying and enjoy time every day. However, I think that case becoming just ideal now.

I heard some bad rumor about some people who living the same condominium. However, I haven't hear horrible rumors like this story. Actually, this story was a kind of horror story. In addition, all illustrations looks so scary. If some little children read this book, they would have trauma. Actually, this neighbor is so strange because they moved without other people. Moreover, the neighbor go out completely quiet. The girl who is main character of this story read too many mysterious books, so when she saw what happened inside of the neighbor's house and told to other people, most people didn't believe her. It is a most difficult thing. People should have more wide view, people could noticed the fact of the neighbor.

BR 2-11: I wish (Gabolinscy Jack, 2007)

There are so many fairy tales in the world. This story is one of them. I'm sure most people know this story. I have read some books which are homage to this story. Actually, when I read this book, I confused because this story is similar to Disney's story. I don't remember the name of the story, however that story is famous too. I don't read a kind of fairy story recently. Of cause, I think reading fairy stories is so embarrassing thing for me. However, I could read this story by chance. It was really good things. When I finished read it, I could remembered my childhood memories. This is very short story, but I could enjoy it.

By the way, I thought that the boys who appear on this story are rather temperamental. Their character always invite something serious and dangerous problems, but I think these character are good because they don't have to worry about this and that. In other words, they are so optimistic. When they wrecked in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, they were so disappointed. However, when they found an uninhabited island, they became fine suddenly. In addition, one of the boy steered the ship. This is unbelievable thing, but maybe they have many qualifications. In other words, they are genius! Then, Why they having many trouble every time?

BR 2-10: Fire Ready (Vasiliu Michelle, 2008)

"There was a thick dark cloud approaching." (p.16.).

 I have seen some fire accidents near by my house. At first, I found weak smoke over the parking area. It color of the smoke was black. I could judge that the black smoke means fire accident instantly. Fortunately, the fire was putted out at once, and there are no injured and casualties then. On the other hand, the house was burned down completely. I can't feel how horrible these fire accident because I always know some information about fire accidents from TV. However, I felt a worry for them. Actually, I don't have any knowledge for evacuate way when I involve fire accident. When I finished this book, I fully realize the importance of  it. Anyway, fire accidents can't be ignored as someone else's business.

The stage of this story is forest. The protagonist and his family living in a house which state in the forest. In short, this story's contents is forest fire. I heard that forest fire is spread quickly and widely. The family who appeared this story prepared for forest fire. However, actually when I read this book, I felt little bit strange. The forest fire had spread whole area already in this story, so prepare for forest fire is so dangerous for them. I think, if they award the forest fire, they should escape from the forest at first. they are trying to save their house from beginning to end of this story. I think l think lives is most important things of all, so it is strange for me.

BR 2-09: Big Fat Cat and The Mustard Pie (Mukoyama Takahiko, 2002)

Reading English is one of a difficulty for the people who don't use English in their life. I started reading English sentences since I was elementary school student. I felt reading English is not so difficult when I started read it. However, When I was a high school student, I felt a little hardship for reading. Especially, I didn't like long sentences which about economy. On the other hand, I loved to read some stories written in English very much. This book is a kind of short story, but at the same time, this book is also English text book. When I read this book, I was so shocked, so I picked up this book this time.

At first, this book is not so difficult to read. Maybe, most people who studied English until graduate from junior high school, would read this book without English dictionary. In addition, there are some Japanese kana printed upper of difficult words. Content of this story is interesting. To make matters better, this book has English grammar leaning pages at the end of a book. When I checked it, I found some information which I didn't know. Anyway, I can recommend this book for everyone. In fact, I recommend this book for my friend who can't read English. After he finished read that book, he could understand English a little. I was so surprised. I think this book goes perfectly with people who studying English.

BR 2-08: Dirt on My Shoe (Graf, 2007)

Some TV programs pick up about world heritage sits sometimes and I watch them when I have a free time. I haven't been to abroad, so I don't know about such places very well. However, I had been to the island to dig out some fossils when I was a child. I tried to dig out some rocks from a rocky place, but I couldn't dig out them because I don't have much physical strength at that time. In addition, there were so hot. After all, I got only two fossils of shell. I fully realized the importance difficulty of nature  It was something really terrible experience, but it was so fun for me. 

At first, when I read this book, I interested about the scene of this story. I don't know these place is really exist, but it looks a nature reserve place. A boy and girl go on an expedition and try to find some fossils in that place. However, I feel some questions for this story. I can't understand why the boy put in his new shoes? Nobody pointed about it in this story. In addition, has a lizard which appeared into some pictures has any relation with this story? I can't find sentences which wrote about it. Maybe, is it a something secret of the boy? Anyway, he looked realised the existence of it.

I have some experience of seeing animals, but these animal wasn't wild animals. When I went to safari park, I saw many animals in that park. It looked wild animals at that time, but I can't say clear about these animals. These animals looked live in wild environment, but actually they were placed under safari park stuff's surveillance. So, I think they aren't wild animals. It is difficult to see wild animal, but I think there are some misunderstanding. Most people think that "wild animals" means "wild African animals". Finding wild cat and dog isn't so difficult in our life. However, these animals which appear in this book are "wild African animal"s.

It is unbelievable thing that his father's garden become such as safari park. Of cause, the boy who is the main character of this story has world record of sleeping is surprising thing. Anyway this book excited my curiosity. When I reading this book, I felt as if I watching animated TV program. I think this story has big dream of children. Especially, boy's character is similar to most children's character. Spending money for comfortable way is one of the dream of the children. This book looks like a kind of toy box. I think that this book makes the children cheerful and innocent. This book should keep more important for the children.

BR 2-04: Making Headlines (Reilly Carmel, 2007)

"It was no wonder I never read the newspaper" (p.9.).

I learned how to read newspaper written in English last semester. It was very difficult for me for the first time because, some words has different meaning in the newspaper. So reading headline is most difficult thing for me. Actually, some headlines appeared in this story, so I take long time to read it. On the other hand, I read Japanese newspaper sometime. In addition, I often check some with my smart phone. Reading type which printed is good thing for me, but actually I think checking news with Internet is more useful than cardinally newspaper. When I read some news on Internet, I don't have to buy newspaper.

This story is expressing how to make nice headline. However, some people who making newspaper is students. So, the newspaper which appear in this story is a kind of class newspaper. At first, Magee who is the main character of this story is hate to make newspaper, but the end of this story, he enjoy to make some headline of class newspaper. I think making newspaper should fun. However, I was so surprised that some students go out to report. I can't imagine like that because when I was a junior high school student, I didn't do like that thing.
