Essays 1-03b: Language Learning Presentations

I made a power point materials which about my language skills. At first, I'll introduce about Japanese and English skills when I was an elementary school student. Then, I'll presentation of my university life. In addition, I'm planning to continue to study English and Japanese, so I'll introduce about them too.

This is my language skills and my future plans. However, I couldn't introduce my first language skills when I was a child, so there are a part of my skills. Learning Japanese letter is one of my language skills, but I didn't pick up it this time. Actually, I couldn't give some examples which more specific, so I want to consider about my future plan more than this time.

My Language Learning Story and Plans

When I was an elementary school student, I wasn't good at write Japanese very well. Especially, I struggle to remember Japanese _Kanji_ (Chinese character) becausethey looked very difficult form for me. So I got terrible points in mini tests, which test how to read and write Japanese _Kanji_ (Chinese character). In addition, I didn't like writing long sentences in Japanese. I tried to write more easily to understand contents, however each time I tried to them; I always told by my teacher that my Japanese composition is terrible to read. It was one of the big problems at that time. However, I have already started to study English at that time.

Actually, it was very easy and boring way to learn English because that way is just repeating what the teacher said. Of course, I couldn't understand English grammar. When I was a junior high school student, I started to study English seriously. When I studied elementary knowledge about English grammar, I was puzzled because I don't know any grammar. On the other hand, I remembered some English sentences because I repeated so many times. So I felt a little bit strange at that time.

I tried to remember more English words and grammar and I challenged to take English proficiency tests. There ware good target to study English for me. I have much time to study English more than about ten years ago. I am studying not only English grammar and words, but also how to read newspapers had written in English. Of course, each time I study more difficult spheres, I feel the lack of my vocabulary. For example, I felt some problems, especially when I attend speaking class. When I explain my ideas and information to people in English, I tend to use limited expressive ways. So, I feel my speech is very monotonous every time.

When I was a freshman, I learned German for the first time. At first, I worried about some rumors. When I started to learn German, I heard from someone that German has unique grammar and pronunciation of the alphabet. So, I didn't have much confidence, which learn German properly. However, learning German was a little bit easier for me because German grammar is similar to English. If I didn't well in English, I would have many problems with studying German.

At the same time, I learned how to write more understandable Japanese essay. It was a very strict lecture and there are many assignments. However, I'm grad to attend that class because I wasn't good at write a Japanese essay more theoretical.

Actually, I haven't thought what kind of job I get in the future and whether I continue with studying English. So I can't imagine about my future. However, writing skill is very useful thing for me because I will have much chance to explain much information for people in the future. So, I want to continue to increase my writing skill.

In addition, I am interested in Japanese novels, so I want much time to read them and understand. I think remembering words are an important skill because writing and reading is an essential skill for peoples' life regardless of language. So, I want to learn not only how to read more collectedly but also how to write more detail. In addition, I want to challenge more English qualifying examinations.

Essasy 1-03a: My Language Skills

When I was about 10 years ago, I didn't imagine what kind of person I become in a future. I studied Japanese language grammar and many "Kanzi" at that time. When I was a elementary school student, I struggle to explain what I come up in writing. I always got terrible grade with my Japanese essays and my teacher always told me that my Japanese essay is so careless. I had awareness about that problem already, and I wanted to study Japanese language more than before. In addition, I can't write difficult "Kanzi" so many times. I could read them correctly, but I can't remember how to write them. So, I wasn't good at to write Japanese very well. On the other hand, I had already studying English at that time. However, It was very easy for me to some students. We just repeat very easy English sentences many times. Actually, I didn't understand English grammar. 

Of cause, I studying English more than ten years ago. I going to university and how to explain myself in many way. In addition, I trying to remember English words. I'm surprising because I can explain many kind of thinks more than before. I can write Japanese more correctly because I have many chance to write Japanese now. For example, I have to do many papers and I have to gather what I want to explain. It is a difficult thing, but I trying to write more nice Japanese. In addition, I learned German for the first time, I worried that I can remember German words and grammars. However, It was a little bit easy for me because German language looked like English some way. I think if I didn't learn English, I had many problems for studying German. So, I think studying English is a very important skill for me. So I trying to attend to many classes which related English and some English tests. Recently, I challenging to TOEIC. Remembering English words is difficult for me but I want to effort more.

Actually, I can't imagine what I do in the future. At least, My English skills will become a kind of useful things for me. but I haven't imagine what kind of job I'll take. Maybe I'll not use English in the future. On the other hand, maybe I'll use English so many time in the future, but I can't say probably thinks now. However, I want to continue study English. In addition, I want to study more detailed Japanese.  Especially, I want to read Japanese famous novels.
