My Language Learning Story and Plans

When I was an elementary school student, I wasn't good at write Japanese very well. Especially, I struggle to remember Japanese _Kanji_ (Chinese character) becausethey looked very difficult form for me. So I got terrible points in mini tests, which test how to read and write Japanese _Kanji_ (Chinese character). In addition, I didn't like writing long sentences in Japanese. I tried to write more easily to understand contents, however each time I tried to them; I always told by my teacher that my Japanese composition is terrible to read. It was one of the big problems at that time. However, I have already started to study English at that time.

Actually, it was very easy and boring way to learn English because that way is just repeating what the teacher said. Of course, I couldn't understand English grammar. When I was a junior high school student, I started to study English seriously. When I studied elementary knowledge about English grammar, I was puzzled because I don't know any grammar. On the other hand, I remembered some English sentences because I repeated so many times. So I felt a little bit strange at that time.

I tried to remember more English words and grammar and I challenged to take English proficiency tests. There ware good target to study English for me. I have much time to study English more than about ten years ago. I am studying not only English grammar and words, but also how to read newspapers had written in English. Of course, each time I study more difficult spheres, I feel the lack of my vocabulary. For example, I felt some problems, especially when I attend speaking class. When I explain my ideas and information to people in English, I tend to use limited expressive ways. So, I feel my speech is very monotonous every time.

When I was a freshman, I learned German for the first time. At first, I worried about some rumors. When I started to learn German, I heard from someone that German has unique grammar and pronunciation of the alphabet. So, I didn't have much confidence, which learn German properly. However, learning German was a little bit easier for me because German grammar is similar to English. If I didn't well in English, I would have many problems with studying German.

At the same time, I learned how to write more understandable Japanese essay. It was a very strict lecture and there are many assignments. However, I'm grad to attend that class because I wasn't good at write a Japanese essay more theoretical.

Actually, I haven't thought what kind of job I get in the future and whether I continue with studying English. So I can't imagine about my future. However, writing skill is very useful thing for me because I will have much chance to explain much information for people in the future. So, I want to continue to increase my writing skill.

In addition, I am interested in Japanese novels, so I want much time to read them and understand. I think remembering words are an important skill because writing and reading is an essential skill for peoples' life regardless of language. So, I want to learn not only how to read more collectedly but also how to write more detail. In addition, I want to challenge more English qualifying examinations.

Presentation Of Traveling

I had presentation about traveling this week. It was very difficult and hard presentation. Most students tried to memorize what talk at their presentations, but actually, I didn't do it. So I got very nervous. My group member wanted to gather at library on the day of the presentation before actual presentation because our group make small 3 posters. So we have to connect them with gummed tape. It looked not so but. However, there are many mistakes in our posters.

For example, we should insert more graphs in our poster. When I looked to another group presentations, I was so surprised because many students make speeches without a kind of memo. So, we had a different way to presentation about our survey. In addition, when we recorded a presentation video with iPad, our poster came off badly in the middle of my turn. At first, I thought that we have to retake, but somehow, that recording was continued. So, our presentation video has a strange scene.

Of cause, I had much difficulty to search about our group subject. We had researched about "traveling" and we made about 23 questions. We couldn't make questionnaire paper, so I legwork to many people. However, I had to many questions for one people, so that questionnaire took much time. It took about 6 to 8 minutes. In addition, most people didn't want to participate to my questionnaire, so I struggle to gather people who have much time to participate.

As a result of our survey, we could gathered a correctly result, but I think I wanted to more interesting speech because when I presentation about my survey, some people looked a little bit boring. Certainly, my presentation was typical. So I want to make better speech next time. We'll have to make imaginary country and make a map and travel schedule. At first, we'll want to sufficient prepare.

This essay is composition homework which combination of two essay.

When freshman enter this university, they have many problems in their new lives at KGU. There are many changes for them, and they struggle to get used to their new lives. At first, They have to decide what subjects they attend. This experiences are difficult for them and they take many time to decide it. Of cause, they doesn't use to their new classes because they doesn't attend classes so long time. In addition, there classes are treat many deep knowledge about English and other subjects. They try to follow their classes and study more than before. However, in the end of the semester, some students fail some subjects. There are many reason why they fail their classes. For example, They are so busy because they have to go part-time job so late time, so they can't sleep very well and study. Getting credits is difficult for them for the first semester.

University life's at KGU starts after students finished with their high-school life's and most of them are becoming 19 years old. Their school life's changes so big . They become many free times for them selves. They are allowed to do part-time job to earn the money or, they are also allowed to take a driver licences to drive. there more things that they are allowed to do. Some of them are started to earn the money in the store . It could be so hard . on the other hand it could be so easy work. For example , some of their part-time job is server in the Hotel. they can earn good many but other way they say it is very hard work. The other say they got a job where they can earn good money. also they need not work so hard. Their so many choice of choosing the part-time job .

There are not only experiences but also good experiences for them. Many students go "Freshman camp" and make new friends in KGU. There are many people who have unique character. They gather when they attend some compulsory subjects and discuss many problems. In addition, they gather when they eat lunch at KGU. They can eat many kind of dishes in this university, but there are many students when lunch time. So they bought box meals and eat at outside or other rooms. They sometimes gather each other out of this university and hold kind of drinking party. They enjoy drink and talk each other. And they make many paper because the have to make a presentations sometime. They struggle to make them, but they enjoy to talk each other and make papers.

Some of them get drivers' licenses after they become university students. they can be learning how to drive and how hard the rules of society is. they can see the different world of the views when they are getting in the cars. some of them feel so exciting but the other feels so scare. many of them need not thing about the rules of the society when they were cycling the bike. but they become knowing that the rules are so important and they need to be carefully when they are driving.

When they be a sophomore, they get use to university lives and they try to some qualifications. For example, they take TOEIC test for the first time and they study very hard. That test is too long for them and they doesn't get good points. So, some people bring English notebooks of words and memory them. The other students bring English grammar books and review many times. They invent many way to study English because they want to get good point in TOEIC test. However, actually they have to study other subjects at same time, so studying what they want to study is too difficult for them.

In the university there many students who comes from other countries or prefectures. they become knowing new friends and seeing new world . some of them see the foreigners who came from Europe, Asia, or america. they are learning the different cultures and languages. they first feel difficult . because of the language . but many of them becoming good friends and having nice times.This is the one of good point of this university. Also you will get a class with the teacher who come from other countries. One of the teacher called Mr. Water-men. he is so cool , kind and also humorous. you can only take his class , when you are in the EIBEI GAKKA. some of them are extremely busy but all of the students are enjoying university life . I really recommend you to coming to KGU.  

They sometime attend club activity in free time and holidays. There are many kind of clubs. Some students do volunteer activity in club activity and make poster which report of their activities. On the other hand, sports club members are practice every day and they entry many Tournaments. They usually use university gym and tennis courts and game every week. In addition, they try to some way to practice themselves. They has many problems but they enjoy their university lives.

About My New University Life

When I entered this university at first, I had a many worries about university life. For example, studying, relationship with other people and new systems of this university and more. However I have staying this university and I get used to these things now. Then I want introduce what I enjoying in this university.

First, I found new interesting for new study. When I was a freshman, I took a "sociology" for one year. I learned about many kind of gropes. It's difficult for me to explain about contents of this subject. However, I was shocked in contents of subject for good means. Teacher showed some videos for us every time. These videos are very shocking and surprising, but these are stayed in my mind. Anyway that experiences are important for me.

Second, I took a TOEIC test for the first time. Actually I didn't imagine about form of test before I took that test. However there ware many worry, so I bought a notebook for English words. When I read it for the first time, I was so surprised because there ware many English words which I didn't know. I should study English words before I took test, but actually I didn't study them at that time! Result of that test was so-so. Next time when I take that test, I want to study English words and grammar more than before and I want to get good point.

Third, I usually go to library to look for books which I use for book review and do my homework. When I visited library for the first time, I was surprised because that library was so huge. I shocked about not only extent of library but also many events which hold in there. When I was a freshman, I attended a event which is kind of treasure hunt game. We got some paper about this library and searched some books and places. That was very interesting for us. After that event, We entered into basement and surprised about unique instruments. By the way, I saw some freshman at that library when I looked for books written in English. They had some paper which printed crossword puzzle. Maybe, they joined a library event which doubles as library briefing session. I know about it because I joined that event too, but it was more interesting than I joined before. This event is so envious thing for me, but I favorite this library.

I have many memories in this university and more. Of cause there are many difficulty in my university life, but I think my university life is very satisfying. I want to challenge many things and get some qualifications in the future.

Essay prep 1-02a: University Life

I'm go to KGU for about one year and I used to spend new university life. I usually have a many things to do, so I go to library at lunch time and do my work. In addition, I have to some work on my own computer. That work is very hard for me. However, I enjoying my university life!

When I attend some class and doing some problems, I can ask my friend sometime. In addition, I found a very interesting subject which I attended when I was flesh man.

About Speaking Class A

I attended second speaking class this week. However, that is our first speaking class because we attended speaking placement interview for the first week. I was enjoyed that class. we tried to talk in English and asked about favorite fruits and vegetables. Many people hate some vegetables, especially some people hate tomatoes because they hate tomatoes' liquid. In addition, I hate it too.

After we talk about it, we started to explain some people who likes vegetables or fruits. Everyone doesn't speak English in a long time because we had a spring vacation, so they are still clumsy when they talked each other in English. After then, we had enjoy a game which like imagination game. That rule was so easy. One person think one fruit or vegetable and the other person asked to some question about that fruit or vegetable. If one person could say correct answer, that game was end. I tried to that game about four time. At first, I didn't know what should I asked to the other person for the first time, so after while, I asked some questions. I asked about color, size, taste, shape and price. Actually, if I asked about something important feature about what another person thought, but I couldn't ask some question like this. After all, I corrected only twice. It was more difficult than I had think.

In addition, we talked about imaginary fruits and vegetables. We gave some examples which put together each other, and gave name for it. For example, if we put together potato and tomato, it name is "Pomato". Actually, this is a real example. However, we could make new imagine species! Of cause, I made some examples, so I want to introduce three examples what I invented.

At first, I invented "Painch". It is literally combination of pineapple and peach. On the other hand this fruits' good point is very sweet, but it has many needles. Then I had come up "Cupple" it is combination of apple and cucumber. That fruits' is very flesh, but its' shape is so strange. Lastly, I came up "Banap". It is combination of grape and banana. We can get many "Banap" at a time because it growth is very quick, but it is small.

We can't came up good example at all. However, we could enjoy that class. We'll talk about our family next week, so I have to ask about my family line before class. However, my parents doesn't know about it very well, so knowing about family line looks very difficult thing for me.
